Service Discontinuation Policy
November 22, 2016
Effective January 1, 2017, the water district is changing its policy for nonpayment of monthly bills. A deliquent notice will be sent out approximately 1 week prior to the first Tuesday of each month allowing every customer time to avoid an interruption in service and a costly discontinuation fee. Service Discontinuation will be done by locking the water meter until such time as the bill is paid. The fee for Service Discontination will be $100.00. Any lock that is cut or damanged by a customer will result in a $75.00 fee and any damage to the metering device, radio device, or meter box as a result of a customer's actions will result in a minimum $250.00 fee. Please watch your bill for any PAST DUE NOTICE and for any DELIQUENT NOTICE.
